To send an email directly from the software, you must have an email manager installed on your computer and correctly configured. Malcolm formats your email and automatically forwards it to your email manager (attachment included) Select the line corresponding to the document you want to transmit then click on the icon
All the preparation fields of your e-mail are modifiable.
If You have defined an e-mail address in the contact file, it will be automatically entered in the "To" field.
The attachment is in "Pdf" format, (ex: your customer's invoice). It is automatically inserted and consists of the
name of the document followed by its number.
You can consult the final document by clicking on the icon
The presentation conforms to the one you have defined in the document, If no presentation is defined, Malcolm will retain the one that has been defined by default in: Parameters -> Commercial documents
In the "Message text" field, you can enter a free text, or insert a text previously saved in
Settings -> Predefined Texts.
All you have to do is click on the icon to send the whole to your e-mail manager
Malcolm does not send your email directly, he simply forwards it to your mail handler.
Depending on your email manager (outlook, thunderbird or other) the transmission operation may take some time.....(about 5 seconds)
